Meredith was born and raised in Hillsboro, TN. In 2012, she graduated from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After graduation, she worked as a pediatric nurse at Erlanger Medical Center. In 2003 until 2014, she worked as a registered nurse in the emergency department at St Thomas Rutherford Hospital. While employed at St Thomas Rutherford, she became a sexual assault nurse examiner. In 2014, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner-Certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She worked in urgent care until joining Dr. Helton’s practice in 2017. She considers her job a blessing and strives to provide quality care that focuses not just on the physical needs of a patient, but the emotional needs as well. She enjoys spending time with her husband, son and friends.
