Dr. Bean is thorough interviewer, an excellent listener, a clear explainer, and compassionate human being. She is able to make sense of a constellation of symptoms and address issues effectively. I have some hope now that a solution exists for me.
DR. Bean gives an impression of professionalism and knowledge. She was recommended by a friend from my Triathlon club, and I was pleased to see how she performed more tests for my knee injury than any other specialist I have visited before. She was thorough to explain about my injury and what are the effective non invasive treatments for it, which would ensure preservation of the joint in the long term. Dr. Bean also demonstrated genuine interest in the PT exercises I have been doing, and recommended to add few to make the recovery more robust and strengthen the muscles that provide support for the joint and the body overall.

I had a great visit with Dr. Bean. She is extremely caring, empathetic, a great listener, and most importantly a great doctor. She made me feel very comfortable and very patiently diagnosed my issues. She answered all of my questions very patiently as well. There was no sense of urgency or rush at any time, which is quite rare. One of my best doctor’s visit experiences in an otherwise turbulent year. I would highly recommend her.
Amazing doctor - listened to my concerns, actually heard what I was saying, and helped me understand what was wrong and how we could fix it. Never at any point did it seem like Dr Bean had to move on to another patient or that she was uninterested in what I had to say. Very happy I made the decision to get a second opinion from her!

I run 10-15 mi/wk mostly on track or dirt trails. Torn ankle ligaments from 11 y ago never fully healed causing occasional pain around knees when running or squatting. Afraid of inheriting mother's arthritis. Fingers--Raynauds disease New patient. Upon entry, St Francis hospital reception requires a temperature check and offers a medical mask to every entrant to doesn't already have one. Plenty of hand sanitizer as well. Dr. Bean and staff occupy the entire 11th floor so the overall experience is calm and unified, with natural light and 360 degree views of the city from all the windows. The receptionist was quick to gather all of my information, only slightly muffled behind the plexiglass barrier. Waiting area chairs are each spaced several feet apart. After no more than 3-4 minutes of waiting, a nurse called me back and rushed through a series of questions trying to clarify my reasons for visiting, but also managed to exchange a bit of friendly small talk. Each exam room is equipped with contactless hand sanitizer dispensers. When Dr. Bean entered a few minutes later, she kept the door popped open to help maximize airflow and minimize risk of airborne transmission. Dr. Bean was amiable--a good listener who didn't mind when I remembered to bring up another issue I hadn't previously mentioned. She was both warm and professional, demonstrating empathy about my concerns, taking the time to explain and display joint mechanics, and feeling comfortable admitting when a question extended beyond her scope of knowledge and into the realm of the physical therapists. She offered a regimen of physical therapy without making me feel pressured to accept. I look forward to my first PT appointment!

Love Dr. Bean and the PT staff at this Sports Medicine office! I went in for lower back pain, and Dr. Bean was thorough in her consultation and diagnosis. She recommended me to physical therapy with Devon on the same floor, who has been equally thorough and considerate. Great experience overall (front desk staff are really wonderful, too!). It's been a long recovery process, but I am so glad I invested the time to see Dr. Bean and team.

Highly recommend Dr. Bean. She was also friendly and easy to talk to. She listened carefully to my issue, explained and provided me with multiple options. At the very end, she also asked me to review and repeat back to her what I need to do so that I could remember and follow through.
I would highly highly recommend Dr. Bean to my friends and families. Her examination was very thorough. She answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns giving me her full attention. I had come for a chest injury that occurred during jiujitsu but she also gave me great advice how i can get my strength back on my left leg where I had ACL and Achilles surgery years ago. i will definitely go to her again.

Dr. Bean was extremely professional and thorough in her examination. She took her time answering all of my questions and even accompanied me down to the gift shop to make sure that I got the right brace. I could not have asked for a better experience!
