About Meredith Sagal
Meredith Sagal, FNP-C, CRNP graduated cum laude from Villanova University with her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She began her career as a trauma intensive care nurse at the world renowned University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. After this, Meredith attended Duke University for her Master’s degree in Nursing. Meredith has attained a vast medical knowledge base throughout her many years of providing medical care, in areas such as emergency medicine, trauma, orthopedics, and surgical intensive care. Now, as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Meredith is certified to treat patients of all ages. She treats a wide array of dermatologic conditions and performs skin cancer screenings, skin biopsies, and various cosmetic procedures. Meredith has had advanced training in Botox, dermal fillers, and medical grade skin care product lines. She is particularly interested in the treatment of acne, eczema and psoriasis. Meredith has a strong belief in working closely together with her patients to develop an individualized treatment plan to best fit the unique needs and individual goals of each patient.
In Meredith’s free time she enjoys visiting Walt Disney World, even running half marathons while there with her husband! Meredith also still finds time to serve in the volunteer fire service as a Firefighter / Emergency Medical Technician, in Baltimore County, MD. Meredith is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau, and the Dermatology Nurses Association.

Meredith was great, she was upbeat and explained what she was doing and why. She was also very nice and chatted to distract me from the needles and scalpels. The rest of the staff acted as if I was bothering them. If it wasn't for Meredith, I would not come back to this practice.

I have previously been to this office, but not to this provider. I was hesitant but she was the only provider that had an opening. I am very impressed with her bedside manner, her respect in listening to me, her explanation of the different tests and plans, and the specific plan she had for me moving forward. She professionally answered all of my questions and explained in depth the diagnosis and how she came to the diagnosis in a way that I could easily understand.

It was a good visit. Everyone was very professional. There was a bit of confusion between ZocDoc and the practice that resulted in me failing to register properly in the Practice’s patient portal. The problem did not deter the office staff and my appointment went off on time.

I don't usually write reviews, but my visit to the dermatologist today was so good in every way, I thought I'd acknowledge this with a comment.
The office texted me prior to the appointment and noted that there were forms for me to fill out. Normally when I print and fill them out, other offices still have more forms to fill out when I get there. Additonally, other offices want you to fill out forms every time I visit, even if I was just in the office two months earlier. This office's site with the forms clearly stated that you should fill out the forms if you have not been to the office in over a year. Great communication. Moreover, there were no additional forms to fill out once I arrived. I was taken to the exam room 10 minutes early, and the doctor arrived within 5 minutes. She was considerate, pleasantly communicative and thorough. Even the medical assistant did her job efficiently and professionally. I was in the exam room and out within 15 minutes. Well done.
