In your initial 60-minute appointment with Dr. Micah Yu, integrative rheumatologist, you'll share your story, health journey, and hopes and goals. Dr. Yu will review your symptoms and prior diagnoses, then discuss the treatment and support you need to begin a new rheumatology and lifestyle plan to help your body heal.
Dr. Yu earned his Doctor of Medicine and a Master's in Healthcare Administration from Rosalind Franklin University. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Rheumatology at Loma Linda University, bringing a comprehensive and integrative approach to patient care.

I'm so happy I found him instead of focusing just on looking at labs working with medications, he's really taking a fully holistic approach to help support me in my journey with an autoimmune disease. Dr. Yu spent 60 minutes with me. I can’t remember another doctor ever spending this much time with me. He LISTENED to me, and was sincerely interested in my story and what I’ve gone through. He was also able to give me an accurate diagnose, which other doctors couldn’t do. I have since seen Dr. Yu in follow up visits and he is helping me reduce my steroid medications and slowly weaning me of my injectable medications. His group also includes a dietician that helps me identify foods that can cause flares and a psychologist to help reduce my anxiety and stress. Two big thumbs up for Dr. Yu.

Dr. Yu gave me the time to discuss my issue. We was very clear and detailed about my symptoms and how we are going to manage it. He was able to order imaging, labs and wrote me a prescription for preventative and something to help with side effects. Would absolutely recommend him.
