About Dr. Michael Adams

Dr. Michael Adams is a licensed acupuncturist and the founder of Core Meridian. Originally from the East Coast, Mike now brings his results-driven, patient-centered approach to the Orange County and Long Beach communities. He holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University in Los Angeles, and advanced clinical training from the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center, where he earned certification in acupuncture and moxibustion. With a background rooted in movement and performance, Mike specializes in orthopedic pain management, men’s health, stress and burnout recovery, and addiction recovery support. He has worked extensively with patients in addiction recovery settings, providing integrative care that supports both physical healing and emotional resilience. His clinical style blends classical acupuncture techniques with modern therapeutic tools—such as cupping, gua sha, near-infrared light therapy, and electrical stimulation—to deliver individualized treatments with measurable outcomes. At the core of Mike’s approach is a commitment to treating each patient as a whole system—addressing symptoms while targeting the underlying patterns that disrupt health. His goal is to help clients restore balance, build resilience, and feel stronger from the inside out.
