About Dr. Michael Albrecht
As a board-certified internal medicine and obesity medicine physician, I’m passionate about helping patients take charge of their health through personalized, evidence-based care. I grew up in Kansas and have spent more than a decade caring for patients across primary care, hospital, hospice, and weight management settings. These experiences have shaped my belief that the best healthcare starts with a trusted relationship between doctor and patient.
I founded BrightMed Clinic to offer a more personal, patient-focused approach to medicine. My practice specializes in adult primary care, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and weight management. I believe in listening closely to my patients, understanding their goals, and working with them to create treatment plans that fit their lives.

Dr Alberct was an outstanding doctor who showed sincerity in his caring about what was going on with me, not just medically for my condition but he showed sincere interest in listening to what was going on in my life and how it affected me more than likely I'm sure he felt that it all had an effect in my physical well-being. He was kind, never cut me off in my long explanations of things and was very obviously and excellent and well-trained doctor, MD, a true MD! His advice and prescribed medications were true to point and he knew exactly what I was describing and talking about and his line of expertise in as far as what I was going to need for therapeutic treatments was right on track. He was kind, knowledgeable and never made me feel belittled.

I have struggled to find a physician that would assist me in trying to get the correct referrals to address issues I’ve dealt with for years. Dr. Albrecht listened and called other facilities himself to confirm coverage and ensure that we followed the proper referral process. Highly recommend!
