About Dr. Michael Albrecht
As a board-certified internal medicine and obesity medicine physician, I’m passionate about helping patients take charge of their health through personalized, evidence-based care. I grew up in Kansas and have spent more than a decade caring for patients across primary care, hospital, hospice, and weight management settings. These experiences have shaped my belief that the best healthcare starts with a trusted relationship between doctor and patient.
I founded BrightMed Clinic to offer a more personal, patient-focused approach to medicine. My practice specializes in adult primary care, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and weight management. I believe in listening closely to my patients, understanding their goals, and working with them to create treatment plans that fit their lives.
Patients can expect thoughtful, unhurried visits, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering the kind of care I’d want for my own family. My goal is to support patients at every stage of their health journey so they can live healthier, fuller lives.
