“They are not in network with the insurance company that Zocdoc assured they were. So it becomes a lot of unnecessary paperwork with some additional expense. And the Physical Therapy through them is not covered at all by my insurance company in network or out of network. Which was the primary purpose of me choosing this practice. Incredibly disappointed by the misinformation on Zocdoc”

About Dr. Michael Ayala
Dr. Michael Ayala is a chiropractor licensed in the state of New York, who is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. For his undergraduate studies, he attended Lesley University, and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. Here, he became intrigued in learning how alternative medicine can assist in treatment for a wide variety of patients. He later attended the University of Bridgeport, where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
As a former collegiate athlete, Dr. Michael understands the importance of recovery and functional movement in every day life. By focusing on patient feedback to hone in on the main cause of their symptoms, he is passionate about providing the best care for all of his patients, not only physically but mentally as well! Dr. Michael is well versed in alternative treatment methods such as soft tissue therapies and adjustive techniques, and also has experience implementing Graston technique and Kinesiotaping. Dr. Ayala is ART Lower Extremities Level 1 Certified.

The office and knowledge of the doctor was miraculous! He was able to assist in my concern and provide the best care. He was the first chiropractor Ive ever seen and he made the experience wonderful. The front desk was very informative. Will be coming back for a weekly visit!

Coming to Strive and having Dr. Michael as my chiropractor was an amazing first experience seeing a chiropractor. He was very attentive and understood my reasoning in seeking treatment. Highly recommend!
I had my first visit at Strive Total Wellness and was really impressed. The office is very clean, welcoming, and well-organized. The staff is extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. From the moment I walked in, I felt well taken care of.
Dr. Ayala took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. I really appreciate the care and attention, and I’m looking forward to continuing treatment here.
