About Dr. Michael Berkson
Dr. Michael Berkson is Chicago’s premier acne specialist. While at the University of Pennsylvania he had the privilege of working with the dermatologists and medical scientists who pioneered the development of the breakthrough acne treatments, Accutane and Retin-A. During thirty years in clinical practice, Dr. Berkson has continually refined his approach to the acne patient incorporating up to date findings from research while utilizing the most effective new treatments. Dr. Berkson prides himself in delivering compassionate, patient centered care as he helps guide his patients toward clear skin. In addition to acne, Dr. Berkson also treats all of the common skin conditions in adults and children including rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.
