Dr Burnett is very caring, thorough, and meticulous. I’m very happy to have chosen him as my ENT. I have some fairy complex problems that he’s been able to carefully and methodically deal with. Highly recommended.

A few weeks back I visited Dr. Burnett's office for the second time ever. My treatment during this visit was about as unprofessional as my first visit had been: My first visit had been about 2-3 years back for sinus troublesand had been somewhat strange: the doctor started out patient and attentive but towards the end of the appointment changed gears (unprompted) from talking about my sinuses to some acne I had on my face at the time. Unprompted, he touched it with his fingers, telling me I should go see his dermatologist wife (slipping me her business card) to seek treatment for it. It was a strange and unprofessional experience but I shrugged it off at the time as he had been fine while talking about my sinuses. This time, I made an appointment via zocdoc and went to his office about 20min before my appointment... only to find out that his office was under renovation and had temporarily moved to a different location close by (in the defense of his office, they had left me a voicemail with this update but as I had been out of the country I had not been able to check my voicemail - my advise in the future would be to send an email to patients but this may be a personal preference from my side). Anyways, I went to the other office, now only 5min ahead of my appointment. There was a cluster of receptionists, none of which cared to so much as greet me. After I'd said hello, one of them turned their attention to me and directed me to the receptionist in charge of Dr. Burnetts business. This individual was sitting off to a side and was more interested in her computer screen than in registering me. She eventually told me to take a seat without an indication of how long my wait time was going to be. I waited... and I waited. 30min after my appointment time had elapsed, I got up and asked the receptionist how much longer it was going to be. She responded that the doctor was presently busy with a patient, after which I was second in line to be seen. This was unprofessional, unfair, and uncaring on many different levels. I had requested time off from my job to keep this appointment, which I was now indirectly being told would likely be an hour or so late. I had, of course, been given no previous intimation in this regard. Given Dr. Burnett's treatment of me during my first visit, this outcome during the second visit was not particularly surprising, but it was annoying and insulting nevertheless. Any doctor who 1> cannot be timely with his appointments, and 2> does not keep his patients informed about potential delays clearly thinks his time is more precious than his patients'. Add this up with the experience of being treated like just "business/future business" during my first visit, and it is a compelling argument for me to never see this doctor again and advise others to do the same.

Doctor was helpful and quick but I was not notified that the address listed on Zocdoc is not where they are seeing patients at this moment. They are temporarily at another address a few blocks away but I did not knowuntil going to the initial location and seeing a sign on the door with another address!

Dr. Burnett is phenomenal - he really cares and takes the time to listen to all potential factors. My case wasn’t typical, and Dr. Burnett saw me a few times to eliminate potential ENT contributing factors! He called me personally onseveral occasions to discuss test results and save me a trip back to his office. He is overall amazing!

Dr Burnett is thorough and well spoken. He explains what he is doing and what is his reasoning very thoroughly and detailed to a lay man (non-medical) person such as myself. His methodology and approach is logical and makes sense. Iappreciate the promptness of the appointment as well. Nominal waiting time in the waiting area (a few minutes max).

The care by the doctor was excellent, but the staff was kinda rude. They all seemed to have a lot of stress and the woman at the front desk had an attitude. As i am suffering from current hearing loss Ihad to ask twice for information and she just looked at my like I am stupid. That didn’t make me feel good. In the end the way the doctor treats you, is more important.

Dr Burnett is compassionate, professional & thorough. I saw other ENT doctors before & concluded that Dr Burnett is the best. He deserves 10 stars! I started seeing Dr Burnett when I was working in Manhattan a few years ago. AlthoughI no longer work in Manhattan, I am willing to drive over 30 miles to see him for the best care & treatments. My husband is also a patient of Dr Burnett. We both trust him & appreciate his detailed examination & diagnosis. Thank you Dr Burnett!!!

My experience with Dr. Burnett was pleasant (good bedside manner, asked plenty of questions, etc.), but the office staff was extremely unprofessional. They were openly fighting in front of the patients both in the waiting room and in the back.I also had to wait for over an hour to see the doctor. All-in-all, the vibe of the office and the long wait time is not worth me going back, despite my good experience with the doctor himself.
