About Dr. Michael Cocilovo

Dr. Michael Cocilovo is proud to be one of the longest practicing chiropractors in Rockland County, celebrating his 38th year of practicing in New City this year. Dr. Mike, as he is affectionately called- earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Seton Hall University and graduated with Honors from New York Chiropractic College in 1986. Dr. Cocilovo is a Certified Sports Team Physician, and is also one of a select group of chiropractors who is certified to perform Manipulation under Anesthesia (MUA) . He is a long-time member of the New York State Chiropractic Association and is Past President of the Rockland County Chapter of the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Cocilovo is also very active in his community. He has served on the Board of Directors for numerous nonprofit organizations in Rockland County as well as volunteering as a Youth Coordinator and Eucharistic Minister at his local church parish. He is most proud however of his two beautiful daughters- Carolynn Cavanaugh and Dr. Katie Cocilovo- Rosin, a Doctor of Physical Therapy, as well as being blessed recently with his first granddaughter- Abigail Sue! After all these years- Dr. Cocilovo still loves treating his patients and is grateful every day for the opportunity to make a healthy impact on their lives – and he looks forward to continuing that now as part of the Kayal Family.
