He then pursued a fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, training with Dr. Allen Morey, a world-renowned leader in urologic reconstruction and prosthetic surgery. As a reconstructive urologist, he specializes in restoring form and function to the genitourinary system for patients recovering from trauma, injury, and cancer treatment. This includes urethral reconstruction for urethral stricture disease, management of male stress incontinence, surgical repair of Peyronie’s disease, and prosthetic surgery for erectile dysfunction. Previously, Dr. Davenport built a robust program in reconstructive urology with Colorado Permanente Medical Group, where he led a task force on transgender health. Additionally, his prior experience includes a role at Urology Associates of Colorado, where he focused on reconstructive and prosthetic procedures. Additionally, Dr. Davenport has contributed significantly to research, particularly in bladder cancer and urological reconstruction, with numerous publications in prominent urology journals.
