Getting to know Dr. Michael Escamilla

Dr. Escamilla is a graduate of Harvard College and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his psychiatry training at the University of California at San Francisco and also completed a research fellowship with the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Escamilla has over 20 years experience treating patients with mental health challenges and has an extensive history of research publications. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and also is a practicing Jungian Analyst. He is the author of the book Bleuler, Jung and the Creation of the Schizophrenias. He also holds positions as adjunct professor at Rutgers University Department of Psychiatry and is the Frank McMillan Jr. Scholar at the Jung Center of Houston.
