About Dr. Michael Fleischer
Dr. Fleischer knew he wanted to become an OB/GYN physician the moment he stepped on the labor floor during his third year of medical school. Treating women during all phases of their lives is what intrigued him the most about the field. Dr. Fleischer also thoroughly enjoyed the diversity that the fields of obstetrics and gynecology offer; ranging from prenatal care in the office setting to operating on various gynecological procedures. He has been practicing in Boca Raton since 1998.
Graduating among the top of his class at UCLA, Dr. Fleischer has a BS in Kinesiology. He then received his medical degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. His internship and residency were spent at The University of Texas at Houston, where Dr. Fleischer was the chief resident.
Dr. Fleischer is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also a member of the Florida Medical Society and Palm Beach Medical Society.
Dr. Fleischer serves as chairman of Boca Raton Regional Hospital and was elected Physician of the Month.

He is a gentleman. It was a great experience to have known him through a friend recommendation. He fulfilled my expectations and I will be back to his office.

Worst “medical” experience ever. The place is dirty and unhygienic, we waited for more than an hour and a half despite our appointment, the secretary is rude and the doctor could not care less. There were cups (yes actually cups, not samples) of pee everywhere (with no lid whatsoever), probably waiting to be tested. There were the most forms of any place I’ve ever been to fill in, yet the doctor did not read them as there were some medical conditions I wrote down he was not aware of. Please, do yourself a favor and go to a real medical clinic with professional people and hygienic conditions.

I just recently moved to the area and selected this provider based on the reviews. Dr. Fleischer and his staff were wonderful. Very calm and respectful vibe. We had to wait a bit while he was delivering a baby, but that was not a problem at all, as the staff kept us up posted. Dr. Fleischer put me and my husband at ease, and we trust him 100%.

The provider is nice and friendly but he is extremely quick. He rushed the visit. There is no interest on his side to discuss the patients issues unless you have an immediate problem.
The wait time at the office is fine.
Also the office is pretty dated if you prefer modern facility.

This is an OB, not a group practice, and he goes from office to hospital across the way on a daily basis, so rating on office wait time is not so related as well roundedness of it. I have come into a longer wait some visits, and overall I still cannot believe how well managed the office is considering this, and compared with other categories. On their toes maybe. Good system in place in the office. Have not had him as a gyn yet, but good with prenatal and deliveries. He could have sent me home with a nice ibuprofen script post partum, but I had a costco size bottle at home so when do you really get rid of something like that? After 2nd delivery, I did not want to go with any extra pain medicine, but make sure to clarify the ibuprofen doses at the hospital. 800mg is allowable - does hospital keep at 600mg every 8 hrs. It may just be difference between follow up births but the last 2 hrs can be tough , especially if baby is feeding well those first days, provoking more cramping for your recovery. I almost had my husband bring a few of our ibuprofen to the hospital to round out the wait, but then it got a bit less. That first day, a 2nd or 3rd birth - I would, even if just to aid getting back to sleep after feeding baby.
