“Dr. Flicker was running behind because of some procedures running over, but he was apologetic on the call and very much worth the wait. While I wish the office had alerted me ahead of time of the 45+ minute wait, I fully understand how it happens and much prefer a thorough visit over a rushed one! He was attentive and listened to my concerns, then constructed a plan with me. I definitely would recommend him!”

About Dr. Michael Flicker
Dr. Michael Flicker first attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he completed his undergraduate degree magna cum laude. In 2004, he went on to graduate from the University of Chicago, completing his medical degree at its Pritzker School of Medicine. He then continued at the University of Chicago Hospital, completing his Internal Medicine residency. Continuing his education in Boston, Dr. Flicker completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Returning to his roots, he returned to Chicago for an additional year of fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Advanced Interventional Endoscopy. After serving as a faculty member of Northwestern from 2011 to 2012, he moved on to work in private practice.
Dr. Flicker is currently a member of the AGA and ASGE.

Didn’t call me after got testing done. Out of courtesy, I think the doctor should call you with test results rather than having to call his office.

The visit went extremely well. The follow up from the office staff, not so much. I’ve been waiting a week for the follow up call from “the scheduler” even though Dr. Flicker said it would be a day or two.
