Very positive experience. Only thing is that the wait was longer than I would have preferred but it’s a medical office and it’s always a bit unpredictable. The staff is very nice and professional, the office is very modern, clean and cool and they really have a lot of testing equipment on site which makes it very convenient when it comes to schedule multiple tests. Dr Ghalchi was very thorough, calm and clear, he took the time to explain to me the situation and next steps. It was a very good experience overall.

You would think when you tell a doctor that you have high blood pressure and high cholesterol that they would inquire about specifics. He didn’t ask any follow-up questions. While ultimately he wasn’t concerned that I had any condition to worry about, he did nothing in the way of explaining why. My blood pressure reading in the room was entirely too high (partly because the person who took it was not following best practices for an accurate reading) and he didn’t even mention it. The physical exam lasted about two minutes without any explanation of what he was looking for or how it helped him make a diagnosis. I got the distinct feeling that this doctor did not take me seriously because I am a young woman. The exam rooms also bizarrely have an open ceiling. There were no other patients in the office while I was there but if there had been they would have heard every word I said. The office space gives the vibe of being more concerned with “wellness” than actual healthcare.

This ranks as one of my worst doctor's office visits to my knowledge. The waiting room was very industrial and nicely appointed, but that's the only positive about this practice.
The receptionist was also the medical assistant. I was a first time patient and they did not take any of my vitals or asked about medical history. I was taken to a room where the examination chair appeared uncleaned and the sanitary cover on the headrest and sheet cover were all seemingly unchanged from the prior patient. No instructions; they expected patients to know what they needed (like undressing for an ekg; or leaving you on the bed while they should have told you that they were done after the test).
The doctor was pleasant but seemed very apathetic about providing care. I told him my reason for the visit and it was very robotic; like ordering from a fast food menu. I carried the whole conversation, including volunteering key medical items that he didn't ask about. Never again.

I had a really positive experience, the office is great, very nice. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Medical assistant/phlebotomist was personable, professional and skilled. Doctor took his time during my visit, seemed genuinely interested in my health complaints and their possible causes, asked questions, and listened to my answers. One of the most positive medical experiences I’ve had since my family doctor retired over a decade ago.

The office is one of ?the most beautiful medical facilities I’ve ever seen. Conveniently located at Union Square and super high-tech with software that’s connected to my Apple Watch and phone that shows me health data in a way that no health app has ever been able to show me before?.
After this visit, I feel very educated about my heart health, and more importantly, all the aspects of my health that contribute to? my ability in being a high performer!

Simply the best! I cannot say enough great things about my office visit today with Dr. Ghalchi. It was amazing how comfortable I felt during the visit. What a brilliant, compassionate, kind and effective physician! He is easily the best doctor I have ever visited and the practice was wonderfully efficient. He took his time explaining everything to me and I really received that personal touch that makes such a difference. Many previous cardiologists have not been able to solve my condition but Dr. G was able to answer every question and make me feel comfortable immediately. New York is lucky to have Dr. Ghalchi. The best!

Other than the wait time which was a little bit longer than I expected, I would highly recommend Dr. Ghalchi. He was very attentive and took time to listen to all of my concerns. He was out of network with my insurance but I would still go back to him if I needed to.
