While my insurance card said I had a specific copayment the office insisted I pay substantially more just in case I had not met my deductible. They never called the insurance to verify if this deductible was met. Then the Doctor came out and got into an argument with me in the waiting room. Very unprofessional!!!!

Verified patient
He does not do knee replacement. A big waste of my time. I still looking for a doctor that takes my insurance that's works at a hospital that takes my insurance.
Verified patient
He took time and explained everything to me in detail and understood my concerns in detail. Awesome doctor, will recommend him to anybody.
Verified patient
I loved it as soon as I walked in. Felt very welcomed, was greed by receptionist. Waited about 20 minutes and was triage. Once there the doctor greets with a firm handshake and listen to your compliant. Explains exactly what he sees and is very details on my solution. Although I made him repeat it more than once, he never sounds upset to have to repeat anything. I would recommend 100%

I am extremely upset that I have to give anyone at all a bad review, however I am extremely upset and appalled by the over attitude of this man. I went to him for the first time regarding my knees as I cannot walk. He saw me for 5 min. Checked my knees told me to get X-rays and rescheduled. I did the above and went back to him where again he saw me for 5 min. Told me I have such and such condition in both knees told me to get physical therapy , when I had to ask him my options instead of him telling my what my options are. He is always reluctant to speak, you have to question him for answers. He recommend a few other treatments and one of them was the Supartz injection. After hearing that it would possibly help me walking and prolong my knee surgery I agreed to do it. His nurse/receptionist asked me if I was allergic to chicken or any substance made of chicken and after asking the side effects I scheduled the shot. I went back got the injection. He was very gentle and I appreciated his steady hands. However the entry point of the injection was a blind one. No ultrasound as it is often done. But maybe that was his procedure and I respected that. My problem came with my 4th visit in which in scheduled my 2nd round. Unfortunately i did not take well to the injection and was having increased difficulty walking. When I told this to his nurse/receptionist she was a bit baffled and said the doctor would not administer the other shot. I told her I would like to speak to the doctor himself. When he came in the room he came no where near me in fact he stood behind my daughter and spoke from a distance. When I told him my complaint he was extremely dismissing disclaiming 4 times that the pain I was experiencing wasn’t atypical and it wasn’t even a part of the FDA guidelines of side effects. He asked me from afar to raise my leg bend it etc. once again he did not even touch my knee or examine my movement. My daughter asked him for a referral to a surgeon and he said we can go where ever we want. He was extremely unprofessional and very nervous about our encounter. I also asked him about a new bone swelling and pain that I am having in my hand AND HE BACKED OUT THE DOOR SAYING WE CAN WORRY ABOUT THAT WHEN THE KNEE IS BETTER. was I refused treatment from an orthopedic doctor? My insurance covers the doctors visit irrespective of the treatment. He refused to answer a question or even look at both my knees and my hands. If you are someone who is impressed by a few old awards plastered in the waiting room then go for it. But if you want a doctor who is passionate about his job and his patients then it is in my opinion that you can find better. Once again I am not defaming this doctor I am simply reviewing and sharing my experience with my peers. Thank you.
Verified patient
Useless. I went because I was told I need surgery on my ankle. He said I need surgery on my ankle. He didn't do it, and his receptionist couldn't be bothered to find someone who could. He never even looked at my ankle. All paper records--receptionist didn't know anything about anything. I asked for a pain killer (I have two broken bones) and he gave me samples of Naproxin. Ridiculous. Waste of time during a time-sensitive period.
Unfriendly and refuse to do anything outside of physical therapy, even though he was told other symptoms came on after doing the recommended physical therapy. Selected this doc because he was available on Sundays but not worth the trip, will find someone that will take my care more serious.
I was pleased with the professionalism and personable treatment I received from the time of sign in to picking up my prescription. Highly recommend
Verified patient
I wouldn't recommend this doctor because he was in a rush trying to finish with me as soon as possible so he can see another patient. In the end he didn't even say bye or didn't even ask if I had any other questions for him. I had to call him myself because I had more questions. In his profile picture doctor is smiling but in reality throughout the whole appointment time he didn't even smile once.

Dr Katz is very professional and knowledgeable. Although he does not do plastic surgeries like the one I requested, he precisely explained to me how my procedure should look like, how long it will take and advised me how to proceed with my case with the plastic surgeon and insurance.
This was my 1st visit and he seamed very nice and on point. However, I think I need a few visits to really make this type of assessment.

Just waist time

He was very nice and professional!
I went in for two reasons, an injury as well as a chronic condition. I was treated very quickly and abruptly as it pertained to the injury; I wasn't even given a chance to explain my chronic condition- I found myself trying to finish my questions as I was ushered out, at which point I was told it would be addressed at the next appointment, 30 days later. When I went to my follow-up appointment, the doctor seemed dismissive when I tried to bring up the matter that wasn't resolved and gave me a referral to have labs drawn (which could have been taken care of during the previous appointment if he would have dedicated an extra 30 seconds to addressing my concerns). At the time, I was also experiencing acute muscle spasms so I asked him about the type of doctor I should see and he replied with seeming disdain at my ignorance. Silly me...

VERY BRIEF, DIDNT EXAMINE WELL ENOUGH.
He was fantastic!
Verified patient
Overall it was great. Although, I had to walk outside a block to another building to get x-rays and back to his office to drop it off. The wait there was another 30-60 minutes to register you, etc.
Verified patient
He's good.
Verified patient
He just wasted my time and my money Not enought communication no explaining I left and I did not even know what I was doing Never return I have to see an other specialist For the same reason. Like most doctors he just need the money nothing else. Wast of time and money
Verified patient
Does not explain or communicate with you his answers are very short and tries to spent the least time with you very loisy Doctor I just spent time and money for no result disrecommended failure Doctor do not wast your time and money with him
Verified patient
Dr. Katz helped me diagnose my neck pain and point me in the direction of healing treatment. As someone who is reluctant to see a doctor unless it is absolutely necessary, I am happy to have found Dr. Katz last minute as I am on my way to recovery.
Verified patient
Dr. Katz is succinct and professional. It may appear to some patients that he is hasty or slapdash in his approach, but I found his assessment, while rapid, accurate and helpful. I have a follow up in a few weeks and will definitely be going! I would definitely recommend him to my peers.
