“For once a doctor that hands you a tablet to ask about ALL your symptoms and the degree to which you experience them. In the healthcare world, because of insurance, you get to have ONE chief complaint (CC) at a time. This doctor asks for it all - and then of course your one CC. They took the time to review all my concerns, did an in-office scan right then and there to affirm what treatments would be helpful. I couldn't believe that I went in on a Monday, and was able to schedule my treatment for the following morning. Incredible staff - all consummate professionals. I wish every physician's office could be like this team. I'm so grateful to them. I've been to other ENTs with such disappointing results. I feel like I have a team that will solve my issues.”

I had an appointment with Dr Kaplan but somebody else visited me. This is not acceptable and it was some sort of cheating!

I am a self-pay patient, so I was more than prepared to pay the cost for the visit. No problem. I paid for the visit upon arrival. They took me back in a decent time frame to get preliminary things out of the way with the nurses. Once in the back room, there was a fairly lengthy wait. At least 30mins (if not more). But in my mind -no problem! I’m here for a reason & this will all be worth discovering what’s going on with me. Dr Kaplan eventually entered the room, asked me what was going on, Put flashlight in my mouth to do voice test & look at back of throat. He confirmed I didn’t have nodules or anything alarming going on. He then referred me to another doctor. That was the end of the visit. Naturally I inquired if there was anything more I could get from the doctor visit before I went to another doctor. He seemed to get offended by my question. Made comment “if finances weren’t an issue, it wouldn’t be a problem.” - I’ll never go back or recommend to anyone else. ??

He is Excellent and his staff were Awesome. I went in because I lost my hearing, the staff went out of there way to write things down, since I could not hear. I wish he could be my primary doctor. Yes, definitely will go back.

100% recommend you book your appointment now…

Dr. Kaplan was seriously great. He actually listened to everything I said and took the time to really understand what was going on, which is rare these days. I never felt rushed or brushed off. He made sure I was totally comfortable with the plan before moving forward. Super patient, thorough, and easy to talk to. Highly recommend if you want someone who actually pays attention and walks you through things step by step.

I was not seen by a Dr., rather a Physician Assistant. I did arrive on time but was not seen until a hour after arrival. Overall my level of care was satisfactory.
Doctor was in a hurry- very short time with him.
Verified patient
I scheduled this appointment because he was listed as an ENT, he told me he is not a general ENT doctor. He seemed dismissive of my concerns and unhappy I was there. He dismissed me while he stayed in the room to finish the paperwork, on the paperwork I was given it has notes of things we discussed and none of which we did. I’m sure he is great at what he does but if he’s not a doctor that can look inside people throats and ask questions about concerns when that is his specialty even if they may be minor or below what he normally does.. it’s a little infuriating.
I had a great experience aside from the fact I didn’t actually see Dr.Kaplan . I saw PA Tiffany and she was awesome I had a really bad ear infection and cotton swab stuck in my ear and she was patient and understanding. She even made sure that I don’t get overcharged for a prescription that I needed to clear up my ear infection

Doc was friendly but when I went for a follow up I felt like he came in without reading my prior history and was in a hurry to complete the appointment. Until asked he didnt tell me what to do next if the issue happens again, to continue or not with the medication left.

Very knowledgeable answer my question clear my doubts and very easy understand and give me peace of mind letting me know that nothing was wrong with me
Best bedside manner and listener I have ever had! Was able to book a next day appointment and needed a procedure that I had a choice of having the same or next day. I chose same day and was very pleased with the care and services provided by the medical staff, in house anesthesia team, and office personnel. Dr. Kaplan personally contacted me the day after the procedure to check on me and share the lab results and treatment plan as well as encouraged me to contact him directly if I had additional questions or concerns. I texted him later in the day to ask a question and he answered almost immediately. Very rare in this day and time. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Michael Kaplan and his staff! What a wonderful find.

I was asked for a CT Scan to diagnose a potential sinus infection, which I thought was a bit of an over reach, though I respect the Doctor’s choice. On my refusal to go for one, I had the feeling that all possible doors for alternative evaluation, what an ‘expert’ should try were closed and I was told that ‘you’ll be leaving with some unanswered questions’. In summary, not the best experience for me.
I had a great experience highly recommended

Very professional
Dr. Kaplan was efficient in diagnosing my sinus issue. He ordered an MRI, read it in my presence, and explained my issue. He then recommended and in – office procedure to correct the problem. The staff was great with scheduling-friendly and professional.
Verified patient
the examination was comprehensive and professional and he explained the diagnosis and treatment plan completely to such an extent the I choose the surgical options immediately and was pleased with the outcome....I feel confident in recommending him to anyone looking for a good outcome....and a pleasing experience

I felt as if doctor was in a hurry to get me in and out of office (visit took about 10 minutes). He did all I would have expected of him, but he had an air of urgency about him.
Verified patient
Overall a great experience. Dr. Kaplan is very personable and gave me a thorough explanation of the issue and how it would be resolved. He even personally called after the procedure and answered the phone when I called him back at 7:30 p.m. and he was out to dinner with his family. Highly recommend.
