He completed his Bachelor of Arts in psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He went on to graduate with a Master of Arts in psychology from New York University in New York City. Dr. Koren earned his Doctor of Psychology at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his clinical internship at the Veterans Association outpatient clinic in Columbus, Ohio, and prestigious postdoctoral fellowship training at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Boston, Massachusetts. In his practice, Dr. Koren draws on a variety of evidence-based therapeutic methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy. In personalized psychotherapy sessions, he helps patients explore and resolve the underlying issues that affect their mental health. He also teaches mindfulness and coping strategies to help patients overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Outside of his practice, Dr. Koren enjoys spending time with his wife, watching college basketball, hiking, and photography.
