Getting to know Michael Moore
Michael Moore, PMHNP-BC I deeply value the opportunity to build strong, therapeutic relationships with my participants. I strive to optimize a holistic approach, combining both pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. I specialize in both adult and geriatric psychiatry.
My approach
I understand we are all unique, with vastly different lived experiences. I tailor my approach to the individual, while incorporating aspects of brief solutions focused therapy, CBT and family systems. Medications are just one piece of the puzzle, as I work to provide my patients with as many tools as possible for future successes.
My focus
I have worked in many different settings, including inpatient psychiatry at the Cleveland Clinic, outpatient psychiatry and within academia. Though I am licensed through the lifespan, my specialty is adult and geriatric psychiatry. I have extensive experience treating mood disorders, bipolar, schizophrenia and complex PTSD.
My communication style
My communication is open, honest and sincere, as I hope to build a solid foundation for future appointments. I look forward to learning about my participants, from a humanistic perspective, and am humbled to be a part of their treatment team.

I am passionate about reducing the stigma associated with mental health, while making services more accessible and beneficial to all patients.

I attempt to set realistic and achievable goals with my participants, in both the short and long-term setting, that will ultimately benefit them in all facets of their life.
