Dr. Morgenstern is an excellent neurologist. He has a deep understanding of the human body and how it works. He is very knowledgeable about the spine and uses his knowledge to explain things in detail in a way I can understand. Dr. Morgenstern is also very patient and helps me decide which treatment is best for me. I highly recommend him to anyone who helps for back pain.
I have been going to Dr. Morgenstern for ADHD since 2015. He is caring, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. He has always taken time to listen to my problems and offer suggestions for improvement. He has also been very helpful in giving me suggestions for the best treatments for my concentration. I had an excellent visit with Dr. Morgenstern. He asked all the right questions and listened to me. I had some serious sleep issues, like being exhausted all the time and not being able to stay asleep at night. so he asked me to bring my sleep journal and he explained the difference between insomnia and sleep apnea. He also diagnosed me with sleep apnea, which I've never been diagnosed with before, and explained how it's treatable. Overall, it was a really informative and pleasant visit. I would definitely recommend Dr. Morgenstern!
I had shoulder pain for about a year and saw Dr. Morgenstern, after having no relief from the usual treatment. After a few visits and physical therapy, he diagnosed me with tendinitis (and recommended a course of steroid injections). In the meantime, I have been following his advice, using the exercises he prescribed, and have made great strides towards recovery. He is incredibly knowledgeable and patient and has given me valuable insight into my condition. I have come to think of him as a personal therapist. I highly recommend him!

Dr. M has really helped me with my shoulder pain. He diagnosed it as a result of a few separate causes one was a pinched nerve and gave me a couple of options to try. He gave me a prescription for the pain and said to come back if it didn't work. I was very happy with his diagnoss and his treatment plan. He is a very kind and down to earth person who takes his time to explain your diagnosis and what is being done to treat it. I recommend him to all my friends and family.
I was taking Imitrex and Elavil for a while because my headache was so bad that I couldn't even stand it. It helped me for a little while, but then I developed some weird side effects that I don't know if they were caused by the imitrex or not. Then I saw doctor morgenstern. He prescribed an entirely different medicine and to my surprise, the headache was gone the next day. I am now on that medicine for 2 weeks, and then I will go up on it. I plan on trying it for a month before I decide if I want to continue using it, but so far I haven't had any headaches since seeing the doctor!
Dr. Morgenstern was very pleasant and informative when we first met. He answered all my questions and helped me understand the different options available to treat my pain. He was also very kind to my daughter who was with me. His communication and follow up after my second visit was great as well. He has prescribed Lyrica which is an excellent medication for my neck pain and I am happy with the treatment.
Dr. Morgenstern is an amazing doctor. He is always very patient and understanding. He really knows his stuff and explains things in a way that makes sense. I had a really bad migraine a few months ago, and I had a couple appointments with Dr. Morgenstern. He took the time to explain exactly what was going on, gave me a prescription, explained what to do to prevent a reoccurrence, and I was so happy with my visit, I recommended him to a few of my co-workers.
I am a nurse who has been dealing with migraines since my teens and have been told by other doctors that I could not be helped. I have tried everything on the market but my pain is still there and nothing has worked. Dr. Morgenstern has been amazing. He listened to my history and took his time with me while explaining the condition and possible treatments. He has a great bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable during our visit. I left feeling like he truly cared about me and was able to help me. I was prescribed indomethacin and am currently using it and I can tell it has worked. This was my first time ever trying this medicine so I was nervous but Dr. Morgenstern made me feel comfortable and confident. I will continue to work with him as my headaches get better. He is a wonderful doctor and a wonderful person.

I saw Dr. Morgenstern for a severe, refractory headache. I was referred by my pain specialist who thought that I should be evaluated by someone who is trained in headaches, specifically someone who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of trigeminal neuralgia. I did not want to see a neurologist because I'd seen too many of them and found the treatments they prescribe to be not nearly as effective as they are for people with neuropathy or MS. I'd been on the pain meds for years with little success. Dr. Morgenstern took his time to explain my options. He was very patient and listened to me. His demeanor was warm and caring, yet he didn't let me talk myself out of anything. I am so happy with my decision to see him!
I really wanted to get off of opioids for my chronic pain but nothing else has worked. I used to work in construction so my body has been through a lot. I have pain everywhere you can imagine. My arms, legs, hands, hip-everywhere. The worst is my shoulder pain and my low back pain for many years. I was about to get surgery for my back. Before I did, a friend recommended Dr. Morgenstern and I found him very informative. He was very friendly and answered all my questions and took the time to listen to my concerns. since I had already tried everything...I thought...he suggested an alternative treatment. I had never tried cannabis but decided to go ahead with this non-surgical treatment before doing anything else. I got good relief and have been able to cut down a lot on the percocet. I am very happy with the outcome.

My first visit with him was because I had really bad pain in my hand and my arm. So bad that I had to stop playing my guitar. This Dr. is excellent. He listens. He takes your issues seriously. He truly cares about his patients. Elmarie is also excellent and makes you feel like part of the family. I was diagnosed with carpel tunnel. I had been getting treatment for 3 years now for really terrible face pain. I used everything known to man. medicines, heating pads you name it, nothing helped. I have been to several doctors in the last few years and none of them can pinpoint the cause of my pain. After my first visit to Dr Morgenstern he was able to pinpoint the cause of my pain and gave me some great advice on how to reduce my pain. after a second visit with him and my pain is reduced by 50%.
