He also enjoys running (though he considers himself more of a jogger), training for long-distance bike rides (including a trip from Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C.), making homemade New York–style Sicilian and Grandma-style pizza from scratch, and perfecting barbecue on his ever-growing collection of Weber grills and smokers. His family dog, Louie, a powderpuff Chinese Crested, supervises it all.
