Dr. Michael Osofsky is a board-certified dermatologist and pediatric dermatologist who cares for patients of all ages, with a special focus on children. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) and earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his internal medicine internship at UPMC, dermatology residency at the University of Iowa, and pediatric dermatology fellowship at UC San Diego. Dr. Osofsky is one of the few physicians in the Pittsburgh area with dual board certification in dermatology and pediatric dermatology. He provides comprehensive medical and surgical dermatologic care, with expertise in treating children and helping families feel comfortable and confident in their care. Outside the office, Dr. Osofsky lives in the Sewickley area with his wife and five children, who keep him deeply involved in the local community through hockey, lacrosse, track, swimming, and more. When he’s not in clinic, at the playground, or at the rink, you’ll likely find him biking around town with his kids. His favorite ride is to the local farmers' market, where he somehow manages to haul home 50+ pounds of produce, fresh bread, and a generous supply of pierogi, all while leading a bike caravan of his kids through the village of Sewickley. He also enjoys running (though he considers himself more of a jogger), training for long-distance bike rides (including a trip from Pittsburgh to Washington, D.C.), making homemade New York–style Sicilian and Grandma-style pizza from scratch, and perfecting barbecue on his ever-growing collection of Weber grills and smokers. His family dog, Louie, a powderpuff Chinese Crested, supervises it all.
