I've been dealing with a foot issue for a while, so I finally bit the bullet and made an appointment with a doctor near my office. I really lucked out with Dr. Schumacher. Absolutely no wait time. Went into the examroom and was clearly explained the prognosis and treatment. He has a good sense of humor and I felt very comfortable right away. In and out in 30 minutes. Highly recommend!

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Schumacher. He seemed to be more interested in getting as many patients in through the door to maximize profit rather than caring for my health. During my very short visit he and his staffwere quick to run an array of tests that they said would be covered by my insurance. This was in fact incorrect and I later received a large bill for the battery of tests they ran. Be sure to double check with your insurance provider before agreeing to do anything he suggests.

In and out pretty quickly. Took his time to explain what pain management would work best and what to do (and avoid) to prevent the injury in the future. Very friendly doc and staff... Side note (not re: doc) - thebuilding has very slow & crowded elevators, give yourself an extra 5 minutes to wait to get up and down

Short and sweet. He was professional, listened, cracked a few jokes (tho he was serious) and figured out the pain in my foot.

If you are looking for a doctor with good bedside manner then I highly suggest you find someone else. Doctor Schumacher has the worst bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. He was rude, arrogant and seemed to care very little about me.I will be switching podiatrists and I would not recommend him.

Dr. Michael Schumacher was awesome. He was very friendly and answered every one of my questions in a professional and knowledgeable manner. However, the assistants at the office really drop the ball. I was supposed to get a follow-up MRI scheduledby one of the assistants, who never made the appointment. It is unfortunate that unprofessional assistants can ruin the overall experience of an otherwise pleasant visit.

I saw him for a minor issue. He didn't seem interested in me at all. He barely looked me in the eye and talked to me for maybe 5 minutes and I didn't feel shed any light on my concern. Iwouldn't go back to him. I was surprised since my experience with other doctors in this practice has been very good.

Dr. Shmacher doesn't rush. He asks what's the matter, exams you carefully, and explains the problem and the solution. When there's more than one possible solution, he gives you the options. He is personable and knowledgeable, with a deft and gentle manner.
