About Michael Sugiura

Michael Sugiura, L.Ac., Dipl. OM, is a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado and a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the NCCAOM. A Denver native, he holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management from Colorado State University. After an unfulfilling finance career, he earned a Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Initially skeptical of acupuncture, Michael’s perspective changed after witnessing its impact. His then-girlfriend, facing a chronic condition deemed untreatable without surgery and told she couldn’t conceive, resolved her condition after two months of acupuncture and herbs. This experience fueled his passion for the field. He specializes in anxiety, depression, stress, PMS, PMDD, fertility, irregular and painful periods, headaches, migraines, chronic pain, and cosmetic acupuncture, offering a holistic approach to well-being.
