About Dr. Michele Lapayowker
Michele J. Lapayowker, D.O., FACOOG, has been a Gynecologist caring for women in South Florida since 1995. Dr. Lapayowker cares for each patient individually and has a gentle approach to women of all ages. She practiced both Obstetrics & Gynecology for many years and now focuses her practice on Gynecology and women’s health issues. She has a tremendous rapport with teens, adults and mature women going through their transition and menopausal years, and is able to relate to each stage of the life cycle to give every patient individualized care.
Her practice incorporates women’s health maintenance and she teaches her patients the importance of disease prevention and personal health management. She believes in the importance of continuing education to enhance her knowledge in the areas of women’s care, nutrition and lifestyle.
Dr. Lapayowker is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a participating member in the American Osteopathic Association, the Broward County Medical Association and the American Medical Women’s Association.
Dr. Lapayowker received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990 and she completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Philadelphia college of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995.
Dr. Lapayowker and her husband have been living in South Florida with their 3 children, Samantha, Jeremy and Liberty, since 1995, which contributes to her gentle bedside manner and nurturing of her patients along with the excellent medical care she gives her patients.
