Dr. Michele Wang, MD

Psychiatrist
TX
I am a board-certified psychiatrist with training from some of the nation's best health institutions. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Francisco, completed my residency in psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center, and pursued a fellowship in psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. During residency, I also completed a year-long fellowship at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute. I worked with the Ministry of Health in Belize, helping develop national treatment protocols for depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia. Additionally, I served as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Hawai‘i, Manoa, and volunteered with the Entertainment Industries Council, which advocates for accurate portrayals of mental health and substance abuse issues in entertainment and media. I understand the stigma associated with mental health and the barriers my clients face on their path to wellness. I support a holistic approach to health and am open to alternative methods of treatment. I encourage wellness through lifestyle changes and healthy habits. My primary goal is to help people achieve a level of well-being that allows them to live life to their full potential. I am licensed to see clients in Hawai‘i, California, and Texas.
