About Dr. Michelle Ehrlich

Dr. Michelle Ehrlich is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and Fellow, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Ehrlich held the position of the Director of Cosmetic Dermatology for the Harbor-UCLA residency program and a clinical instructor in dermatology for UCLA for over 10 years. She is currently the Physician and Director of Dermatology & Laser Center of Manhattan Beach.
Dr. Ehrlich completed her cosmetic surgery fellowship in La Jolla, CA where she trained with a team of cosmetic dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Previously, Dr. Ehrlich completed her training in Dermatology and Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. While at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Ehrlich was elected President of the House Staff and served on the Graduate Medical Education Committee. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and from Princeton University, both Cum Laude and Sigma Xi. Dr. Ehrlich’s honors include “Top Dermatologist,” Cambridge “Who’s Who in Medicine,” “Teacher of the Year” Harbor-UCLA, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery preceptorship, Pieter Hitzig research grant at Princeton University, and the Robert C. Byrd award for New York State. She is a laser consultant and instructor, and her outside interests include photography and sculpting.

Boxes all behind the reception area. Plants all along the reception. Looks like pack rat and disorganized.
Was in the room for 30 mins Asstiant walked told me i had to pay my copay,which i expected still not seen by the dermatologist. I asked how long will it be until im seen by the dermatologist. Asstiant said she isn't sure. She asked me is there somewhere I jeed to he i said yes work. Waited another 20 mins the dermatologist walked in with a new Asstiant they didn't even intrusion themselves. Just was asked what was going I'm guessing by the dermatologist. She told me what not to use what told me she is going to prescribe some topical and some cream. Told me if was because of the fires and bad quality of air. To change my toothpaste Took 5 mins. Got the medication one of the topical cream that I use for my eye took 1 week to recieved in the mail use it that same next woke up with my eye swollen. Never going back to that office.

I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. I am not sure how they are even in business anymore. Once Dr. Ehrlich arrives to your appointment 1-2 hours late (not an exaggeration, already major red flag), she will prescribe medications that have to go through a compound pharmacy, which is fine in most cases. She does not send pre-authorizations and once the pharmacy requests them, it takes her 2+ weeks to get back to them. I have called this office daily and even spoke to Dr. Ehrlich herself, telling me she would put in the pre authorization that evening. Days later I call again to find out it has not been done. I could have saved myself almost a month of time by going elsewhere, as my prescriptions still have not been filled.
