Getting to know Michelle Meyer

Hi, I’m Michelle Meyer, and I’m so glad you’re here. I work with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, ADHD symptoms, overwhelm, and emotional dysregulation using a thoughtful, integrative approach to mental health care. Please note that I do not prescribe stimulant medications for ADHD such as Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin, or Concerta, but I do offer non-stimulant medication options and integrative strategies to support focus, regulation, energy, and overall wellbeing. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I blend traditional psychiatric treatment with nutrition, lifestyle support, nervous system regulation, and a deeper exploration of the factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. While medication can absolutely be part of the healing process, I believe true wellness often involves looking at the bigger picture. My goal is to help you better understand what’s happening beneath the surface so you can feel more balanced, empowered, and connected to yourself again.

What should a new client know about working with you?

At our initial appointment, I will spend up to 90 minutes getting to know you better and gathering a comprehensive history. I understand that discussing mental health can be challenging, and I prioritize providing a safe and comfortable space for you to share openly. Follow-up sessions typically last between 30 to 60 minutes, and we will work together to tailor the length based on your needs and preferences. We will explore a range of approaches to enhancing your overall well-being, including medication and other techniques.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
