Philosophy of care I offer you care, treatment and education that combines the best medical practices and your own cultural beliefs. I believe health care providers working with patients on their level ensures optimum outcomes. Why I entered medicine I entered medicine to make sure mothers can come home to their children. I lost my mom at a young age and that helped drive me to become an emergency nurse. Now I want to do more by becoming a nurse practitioner and help my community overall. I still want to help keep families healthy and together. Community involvement Children are our future. I help give back to our future by training and running in the Chicago Marathon to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities. I have also donated hair to help children struggling with alopecia or other hair loss. Personal interests When not working I spend my time with my husband and two children, enjoying this ride we call life. I can typically be found watching Harry Potter, playing soccer with the kids or eating Brazilian BBQ.
