Colorado native Michelle has worked in healthcare for 25 years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and completed her Doctorate in Family Nursing at Montana State University. She was drawn to SCL Health for its mission to serve the community, especially the poor and vulnerable. Michelle chose family medicine for the opportunity to get to know families across their lifespan and enjoys doing so in a small clinic setting. Prior to family medicine, she was an RN, which served her well and provided valuable experience to bring to primary care. She is easy to talk to, open to any and all questions, and enjoys partnering with patients in their health plans. Being a mom of three means Michelle is comfortable caring for children and adolescents. When not serving at Broadwater Clinic, you'll find Michelle working in her garden, traveling, and keeping up with her children.
