About Ming Chen
Dr. Ming Chen is an out-of-network provider and does not accept HMO, Medical, Medicare, or in-network patients at this time.
Most insurance plans do not cover acupuncture telehealth. After you pay for the acupuncture telemedicine service, we will provide you with a bill, and you can contact your insurance company to seek reimbursement for the service.

In 1982 Dr. Ming Chen graduated from Chinese Medicine from Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine, one of the top Traditional Chinese Medical schools in China. He worked as a clinician at Ruikang Hospital, affiliated with Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine in China. In 1991, he obtained his California acupuncture license. Dr. Chen has practiced medicine in both China and the United States for 43 years, treating more than 210,000 patients.

I was having severe abdominal pain
Dr. Chen did a full health evaluation and did the acupuncture treatment on me and with in one day my pain reduced by half and by three treatments it was gone
I highly doubt Dr. Chen for anyone who is having and health or pain issues. It is quite amazing how acupuncture works.

Dr. Chen resolved my knee pain in one session. After the second session I felt even better. Dr. Chen is so knowledgeable and really helped me. This was my first acupuncture visit and he also took the time to answer my many questions. I highly recommend Dr. Chen - you will feel better!

I was seen for Bells Palsy and had already finished my prednisone Rx but I still had facial numbness, no control of my eyes or mouth. I was told that acupuncture works well for BP. I can tell you that it does! I was told not to expect to heal for 2-6 months. For my visit he did cupping, acupuncture and acupuncture stickers on my ears so I can have a daily treatment that I can do myself. After my appointment I went to visit family who had seen me just a few days earlier. They noticed a difference just an hour after my appointment! I had better control of my mouth and could say words that I was flubbing up previously. I could close my eye completely under my control. I could also wrinkle my forehead now. Then comparing one side to the other, the numbness was less noticeable. The treatment was not comfortable (but not painful) but because of its efficacy, I’ll gladly continue this treatment.

I came in for pain on the left side of my face and back neck area. I would get a pulsing nerve pain every couple minutes constantly throughout the day. After four treatments, the pain has finally become manageable thanks to Dr. Chen.

I am grateful for the first and second treatments I have received. Prior to treatment I was in a lot of discomfort in my lower back and I had difficulty walking. With the right treatment at this clinic, I felt relief and now I can do all my regular activities without pain. I would definitely recommend this clinic to my family and friends.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Chen for over twenty years. Whenever I suffer from a pain, I’ll go and see him. He has received four-year formal training in Chinese medicine and is one of the best practitioners in this field.

I had blood clots on the right side of my brain that caused a stroke. It affected the left side of my body and
made it difficult for me to move. I'm very lucky and thankful to have been treated by Dr. Ming Chen and Dr.
Luxia Yang. They used Jiao-shi scalp acupuncture to stimulate the right side of my head and activate neural
plasticity. Additionally, they gave me Chinese medication to help treat and enhance my total health. They advise me to change my diet by cutting down carbs and sugar to lose weight. Finally, they used the process of tongue diagnosis to remotely evaluate my daily recovery. Because of them, now I am close to full recovery in only 6 months. The only other medication I have been taking are for high blood pressure control and cholesterol control. Walking thousands of steps a day has also helped. If you or your family or friends have sequelae of stroke or other neurological diseases, Dr Chen & Dr Yang can help you. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Ming Chen is the most knowledgeable practitioner I have ever met. His skills are far beyond any other who has treated me. I had hip pain and went to Dr. Chen for acupuncture, and the pain disappeared completely after just a few visits.

I had a stroke and hemiplegia for 5 months. Dr. Chen treated me with scalp acupuncture. After more than two months of treatment, I have recovered 90%. Dr. Chen treated me with some scalp needles, and the effect was very ideal. Thank you very much for Dr. Chen.

Dr. Chen is an extremely skilled acupuncturist who has extensive knowledge on traditional chinese medicine (TCM) including herbal treatments. He is personable and takes the time to explain how the body works for the problem/issue and how the recommended treatment will work. He is a trusted practitioner as myself and my family member have been treated by him and his wife Dr. Yang for over 15 years.
