About Dr. Mishah Azhar
Dr. Mishah Azhar is an internal medicine physician with BayCare Medical Group serving the Tampa area. She has a passion for primary care, health equity, medical education and delivering the highest quality, evidence-based care to her patients. She believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health. She is dedicated to helping patients receive the treatment they need so they can enjoy a positive and fulfilling lifestyle.
Dr. Azhar completed her undergraduate degree in molecular and microbiology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine, with honors, from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She continued her medical education by completing an internal medicine residency and subsequently served as a chief resident at Florida Atlantic University’s Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine in Boca Raton, Florida. She is certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and a member of the American College of Physicians. She speaks Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.

Such a kind doctor. She was not late, did not rush me, was attentive and listened to all of my concerns and was very thorough. After a poor experience with another provider I am SO grateful I found Dr. Azhar.

Dr Azhar was everything I was looking for in a PCP. She took her time and went through my entire medical history. She asked me about my professional and personal life. i came in a little late before my appointment, but Dr. Azhars made it happen to see me right away! she is an excellent listener and is so kind to her patients as she takes the time to know who we are and what we do for a living. she helped me with a referral for a psychiatric for my depression and anxiety. i felt extremely cared for. very blessed i have met Dr. Azhars and can’t wait to see her next time!
