About Dr. Mitchell W Madden

Mitchell Madden, MD, joined Physician Associates in Lake Mary in 1994. He is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Madden completed his medical degree and pediatric residency at University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, where he served as chief resident in 1992. Dr. Madden served as a medical review officer in 2013 and was instrumental in the development of Florida’s first infant heart transplant team. Dr. Madden is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Wilderness Medical Society. In his spare time, he also participates in outdoor mentoring programs for teens.

I don't see Dr Madden often but he's always so kind and caring to my sons when they see him.
The nurses and staff are always so pleasant and Dr Madden is beyond caring! He's amazing!

Overall great experience. The one thing I would like to see change is that somehow parents are reminded each year when it's time for their child's well check. When you're a busy parent of multiple children it's easy to lose track, so a simple e-mail reminder or phone call would be nice when it's the best time to call and schedule appointments.
Dr.Madden is exceptional. We have been with him for 26 years!! His staff is wonderful, welcoming and through. I do think we need to visit the idea of extending pediatric care through age 21.
The service is exceptional; from the time I check in with my child, and the nurse greets us and prepares us for Dr. Madden, finished up with an accurate diagnosis from Dr. Madden. The office runs smoothly.
The office was amazing. I called at 930 that both of my children needed to be seen due to acute illness and I was offered a 10am appt (which was too soon as I drive further than that just because of how much I love this office) and I was given another option of 1110. Nurse was patient and listened to all of my concerns and Dr. madden took his time and throughly examined both children. He was super patient and made me feel comfortable.
I called & needed an appointment asap for my daughter. They set up an appointment with Dr. Madden within 2 hours. They were prompt, courteous and very kind. Dr. Madden took the time to diagnose her with two issues. He is great!!
