About Dr. Mohamad Eid

A Florida native, Dr Mohamad Eid has lived most of his life between south Florida and Tampa Bay area. He went to the University of Miami where he graduated with a biology degree before he continued to medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. He finished medical school in 2014 and joined the internal medicine residency program of HCA/USF Morsani College of Medicine: Oak Hill Hospital. Dr Eid became a chief resident there and continued there as an academic attending to ultimately becoming Oak Hill Hospitals chief of medical staff. During those years he also found time to become part time faculty at Moffitt Cancer Institute and completed an MBA at University of South Florida Muma College of Business. On his time off, Dr Eid volunteers at Crescent Community Clinic where he provides free health care to adults who have no insurance and meet poverty guidelines. Dr Eid is fascinated with the evolution of medicine and where it is going. He attends and gives conferences. He is active in research and publications. He has trained dozens of residents who have gone to practice in different domains of internal medicine. On a personal note, Dr Eid enjoys deep sea fishing along the Florida gulf coast. He is a big fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (GO BUCS!) and the Florida Orchestra. He spends most of his free time with his family, long walks and loves to BBQ. He understands fitness, weight loss and the science behind staying and maintaining great health.
