Patient reviews for Dr. Mohammad Ramay
Short, sweet and to the point. Great guy!
Definitely a pill pusher and set in his old fashioned ways. He sees most patients for 5 minutes. On my first visit, I told him I was interested in weening off my antidepressant and he told me not to do it because I would end up in the hospital and killing myself. Wow. He also claims to only take cash which is ridiculous and just allows for no paper trail. He quickly submitted exorbitant insurance claims with the wrong codes just to get more money. After meeting with him for 15 min (first appointment) we came out and the rom was filled with 5-6 people who had come in those 15 min. Unprofessional and disappointing. Would rather pay more for a better doctor. UGH
My opinion about Dr. Mahammad Ramay is excellent. In time no waiting
A very pleasant older man, clearly set in his ways. You can get a script in under 5 minutes which is why I do NOT advise seeing him. Again, pleasant man, not a bad guy, just another one of your classic psychiatrists who writes scripts and bills insurance, no real investigation of your problems
Dr. Ramay, Truly an outstanding psychiatrist Dr. Ramay excellent communicator kind and caring humble you should see all the awards he has on his office wallls certificates of achievement. If you want or need help after seeing many different psychiatrist I have to say there’s no better choice and no one has more experience or knowledge thank you so much for your help!!
Always quick, to the point, yet never feel rushed. Highly recommend.
Signed up for psychotherapy, but I spent less than 15 minutes in the office, barely said anything, and less than halfway through he was writing me two prescriptions that I tried to refuse. I'm sure if you're referred by a psychologist he'd be great for prescribing and monitoring meds, but he did not provide psychotherapy. I've never had a confirmed diagnosis, so I was not prepared to leave with medication.
Very nice doctor. Listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I will be coming back to him soon.
Great Doctor really understood my needs....Fast and great listener ....Devan Clark
Excellent! Attentive, patient, caring- everything you would expect in a top notch clinician.
This was my first appt with Dr Ramay. Great bedside manner, an open communicator, and let me play an active role in potential therapy options. Spent a good amount of time discussing personal and family history and seemed to take detailed notes. Having tried to find someone I can actually talk to, I'm hopeful after my first visit that I finally have. The other patients in the waiting room also spoke highly of him.
Got recommended to Dr.Ramay. Very kind guy who genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being!
I will not go to see Dr. Ramay again. I went to him for acute depression. He started me on meds that were not working. I was taking too much time off from work that I needed a medical certificate to take medical leave but he would not fill it out. I ended up going to another doctor that was willing to fill it out.
Great doctor, just to far for me to drive to him to see him
He was very attentive, and listened to me fully. Will be staying with him!
Very nice and really listens. Seemed to really take the time to get to know me
Awesome doctor. He listens carefully and understands the situation and then provides his help. Greatly helped me with marriage counseling to me and my wife. Great Doctor!!!
Dr. Ramay listened to my concerns, was very empathetic and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone and it was also definitely worth the 45 minute drive to go see him.
Dr. Ramay was very professional, I felt comfortable from the moment I walked through the door up until I left to reschedule my next appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Ramay.
Complete waste of my time and toll coming from Riverdale. He was extremely nice over the phone however, when I arrived he was short and curt. Never again!!
He was amazing to the point , focused on responses. And he took the time ask follow up questions. I would recommend him. Great first impression and impressed he took the time himself to call in my confirmation. Worth the 45 minute drive for me. If I have anything negative to say it would be I wish he was closer. He was worth the compromise!
He was professional and had a nice personality as well... a rare combination!
Did not seem interested in my issues. Just jumped to prescribing medication. Did not take the time to actually talk
Such a sweet man!! Highly recommend!
My appointment with Dr. was at 5:35pm. He took me in at around 6:30pm. I waited so long fo him to finally see me. Once he saw me it was all about the money and changing the medications. He didnt want to get to know me. Doctors nowadays just want the money. THey are so greedy and money-minded.
He was very helpful and the wait time was less that 10 minutes.
Very warm, professional, made me feel very comfortable. Is quick and keeps his appointment times.
Very very friendly and positive psychiatrist! Highly recommend him!!! Very light-hearted and caring doctor who has excellent bedside manner, personable, and easy to talk to!
My first visit with a psychiatrist since high school, and Dr. Ramay was very understanding and sympathetic to how my problems had manifested again as an adult, gone untreated for 15 years, and were leaving a pattern of chaos and underachievement in my adult life and career. I've been a patient for several months now and have seen a vast improvement in my quality of life and career. Highly recommended!!!
He was a very nice man. He came out and had taken my information within 5 minutes of me being there.
Very patient Doctor and listens to your concerns.
Dr. Ramay is very kind and caring! He truly cares about his clients and listens to what they have to say. I would highly recommend him.
Great! Very understanding as well as professional. Highly recommend.
One of the nicest doctors I've ever been to...makes you feel very comfortable & no anxiety...very personable. Highly recommend for his knowledge also.
Very professional and concerned.
Was very kind and asked a lot of questions. Very straight to the point. Felt like the diagnosis was accurate.
Straight to the point. No wait time, seemed to care about my well- being. Nice office.
The only doctor I've been too that actually listens to what I'm saying
He listened well but rendered a diagnosis rather than engage in dialog.
Very easy to talk to, extremely professional. Explains everything in detail
A wonderful, sympathetic doctor.
Dr Ramay seems to truly care and have empathy. He is the only Doctor I've felt has accurate insight into what it can be like for a patient in the mental healthcare system. He is extremely intelligent and has achieved many rewards for excellence in his field. He also has a very relaxing and beautiful office, which not all psychiatrists do. I have seen Dr Ramay three times now, and I've never had to wait for our appointment. I recommend Dr Ramay 100%
A very attentive dr. Takes time to listen and more importantly HEAR what's going on with his patients. Will see as often as needed
He was helping me in no time Great experiance
Great doctor and no wait time! Looking forward to my next visit.
First visit went really well. The doctor listened to me and asked pertinent questions. He diagnosed me and scheduled a follow up appointment without hesitation. The wait was not long at all maybe 15 minutes at the most. Nice office and nice bedside manner. I'm very picky when it comes to my doctors and I'm very pleased.
It was my first visit. He seemed very nice and knowledgeable
Excellent visit, very short wait, the doctor was extremely polite and helpful. Excellent!
