Growing up, I had trouble with my nose and sinuses, too. It wasn’t until I was 18 that I found out I had a deviated septum and allergies. It took me ten more years to get the help I needed. Fixing my nose became a priority for me during medical school. After my surgery, taking that first breath through my nose felt amazing! I remember specifically chocolate chip cookies and milk smelling and tasting so different, so much better, than they had in the past. That experience drove me to help others with nose and sinus issues. As your doctor my main goal is to use simple procedures done in the office to help you breathe better. Breathing well through the nose, especially during sleep, is crucial for good quality of life. When you visit me, know that I understand what you’re going through because I’ve been there too. I know it can be tough when doctors don’t take your symptoms seriously or don’t diagnose you properly. That’s why I’ll make sure to take the time to help you, just like I was helped myself.
