“Dr. Islam has been accommodating, and some of the staff have been helpful as well, though the experience has been inconsistent. What I am really looking for is a clear explanation of my current condition and the reason this procedure has been recommended. I was advised to undergo GSV ablation, but it was not explained to me in detail. I believe I have the right to fully understand what is happening with my body and why a procedure is being proposed. I would appreciate a straightforward explanation, in plain English, including the findings from my ultrasound, how they relate to my symptoms, and why this specific treatment is necessary.”

Had a good experience went in and found out was was causing my leg pain. They did the necessary tests to figure it all out and will monitor it now.

Dr. Islam was kind but this office is wholly incompetent. Everyone in the crowded waiting room had been waiting 2+ hours for their appointments/procedures. This was my experience BOTH times I went to this office. The second time I had a procedure scheduled but waited 2.5 hours past my scheduled time so I walked out without being treated. Then the office called me to scold me. Bad place.

I am aware I need to lose weight, which is why I am still losing weight. He told me 5 times in 5 minutes that I was too big. I told him I was 320lbs, and now I lost 100 lbs. I explained my diet. He responded by saying, "I say all the right things." He said losing weight is easy now because of medication. I informed him that my insurance had rejected me for approval to receive medication twice. He asked why because everyone could get it. He then said we'll it is time to go to the gym. I informed him I do go to the gym and work out at home. He asked me how many calories I burned today. My appointment was at 2. I got seen around 4. He made a general judgment about me, implying I am just fat and lazy. Sure, I am fat. I need to lose weight for sure. But I have worked on losing weight every day for over a year, which is why I am down 100 lbs. If you are overweight, find another dr. who still thinks of you as a human being.

This is like a zoo. They book way more appointment than they can see. Everyone running around like a cat with their head cut off! Terrible

Had a long two hours of waiting to see the doctor

I arrived at my scheduled appointment time, fully expecting a professional and organized environment where patients would be treated with care, respect, and efficiency. Unfortunately, what I encountered was the complete opposite. The front desk staff displayed an alarming level of negligence and unprofessionalism that I believe must be brought to the attention of management, future patients, and anyone concerned with the standards of healthcare services. From the moment I entered the waiting area, I noticed that the front desk staff were far more interested in their cell phones than the patients standing in front of them. Instead of acknowledging me promptly or offering assistance, they remained focused on their personal devices, completely ignoring not only myself but also other patients who were quietly waiting for attention. It was only after I had to physically knock on the glass window that someone finally looked up and acknowledged me. This behavior set a very negative tone for the rest of my experience.I completed all of the necessary documentation and provided the required identification and insurance documents without delay. I did everything expected of me as a patient, acting respectfully and patiently despite the clear lack of professionalism being displayed. After handing in my paperwork, I sat in the waiting room assuming I would be called shortly. To my surprise, the waiting room remained completely empty no patients were being seen, no one else was waiting yet I continued to sit there for over an hour without any communication, explanation, or update from the front desk. What made this situation worse was the total indifference displayed by the staff. Not once did anyone check in with me to let me know about any delays or issues. I had to keep getting up, approaching the desk, and asking what was happening with my appointment. Each time I did, I was met with either blank stares, vague answers, or more silence. It felt as though my presence and my time were of no importance to them whatsoever. If the waiting room had been crowded with other patients, I might have been more understanding. However, considering the room was empty, the complete disregard for my time and my wellbeing was inexcusable. Patients, especially those who are already feeling unwell or anxious about their health, deserve compassion, efficiency, and communication from healthcare providers and their staff. What I experienced was the exact opposite: negligence, carelessness, and an obvious lack of basic courtesy. After waiting for over an hour, I was finally called back, but even then, my experience did not improve immediately. I waited an additional 30 minutes after being taken back to an examination room before I was seen by the doctor. Again, there was no communication, no apology, and no explanation for the delay. I sat there, alone, wondering why such a basic standard of professionalism was so difficult for this office to maintain. The only bright spot in my experience was the technician who eventually assisted me. They were polite, professional, and made me feel somewhat reassured after such a long period of mistreatment. It was clear that the technician understood how patients should be treated — with respect, empathy, and kindness. It is unfortunate that the rest of the office staff could not uphold the same standards.Beyond the terrible front desk service, there was another disturbing issue that I feel compelled to mention. It became evident that the staff and administration seemed more concerned about insurance payments and billing procedures than about providing proper patient care. Before proceeding with any actual diagnostic tests or medical services, there was a disproportionate focus on verifying whether insurance would cover the costs. While I understand the need for offices to confirm insurance coverage, the priority should always be the health and wellbeing of the patient first, not the office’s reimbursement policies. This mentality prioritizing money over patient care is grotesque, and it reveals a serious flaw in the values and operations of this practice. Patients should never feel like they are being treated as dollar signs rather than as human beings seeking help and healing. Healthcare is supposed to be about compassion, healing, and professionalism. What I witnessed instead was a cold, transactional approach that left me feeling unseen, unheard, and utterly disrespected.I left my appointment feeling extremely disheartened and upset. Instead of being provided with proper care and support, I was forced to advocate for myself every step of the way just to receive basic acknowledgment. No one seeking medical attention should have to experience this level of incompetence or apathy from the very people who are supposed to help them.I strongly urge this office to reconsider its hiring practices, staff training protocols, and internal priorities. Patients deserve to be treated with dignity, patience, and kindness — not as an inconvenience. Front desk staff should be trained to understand that their role is vital in creating a positive and reassuring environment for patients. Communication should be prompt and respectful. Delays should be explained. Patients should not be left to wonder if they have been forgotten or ignored.I sincerely hope that others who have experienced similar mistreatment will speak up as well, because healthcare offices need to be held accountable when they fail to meet the basic standards of professionalism and patient care. Offices that prioritize financial gain over patient trust will ultimately lose the very community they are meant to serve. In conclusion, I was extremely displeased with the service and treatment I received. The front desk staff were negligent and dismissive. Communication was nonexistent. Compassion was absent. I was made to feel invisible at a time when I needed care the most. Although I appreciated the kindness of the technician, one positive interaction does not make up for the overall dysfunction and mistreatment displayed by the rest of the office.Patients deserve better. I hope this review serves as both a warning to others and a call for immediate improvement within this practice.

I booked my appointment using Zocdoc, and made sure they’d accept my insurance. This was a in network appointment. The office called me 3 times before my appointment to verify my insurance, and yet when I got there, the front desk person told me they didn’t accept my insurance! What did you do with the insurance information I have given you 3 times before my appointment? They should have told me the first time I shared my ensure info with them. For a double amputee, in a cold day, being refused at the doctor’s office because of non accepted of insurance is very unpleasant. I was really upset about it, and therefore the negative review.

There is often miscommunication when booking on Zocdoc. The office was packed and it took too long to see the doctor, 2 hours 30 minutes but once I was seen it went quickly, cheerfully and confident of their prognosis and success of treatment.

As soon as I walked in, I noticed how crowded it was and immediately asked how long my wait was going to be. They told me there were several doctors in the office, so that's why it seemed crowded, but my wait wasn't going to be more than a half hour the most because I was a new patient. After an hour and a half I asked how much longer it would be and I was told because of all the wheelchair patients it was going to be a while. Each wheelchair patient takes an hour. I'll find a new doctor. They should have said in the beginning it was going to be a while instead of lying. They were unorganized and scrambling behind the desk. It was pure chaos.
The experience was good. The doctor and nurses were quite friendly and supportive. I would recommend them to friends and family.
