About Dr. Mohit Gupta
After 15 years of work experience, including 10 years practicing at the Cleveland Clinic hospital, ranked the #2 hospital in the world, I have decided to call Cypress home and started my primary care practice near the 99/290 junction. I have experience evaluating and treating patients ranging from the simplest to the most complex cases. I was a training faculty member and taught medical students and residents at this prestigious institute.
I graduated from Mumbai University with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2003. After training for 3 years in the UK, I pursued further training in the US, completing my residency in Internal Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine.

I loved Dr. Gupta!! He was the most understanding and educated doctor I’ve ever seen. Made me feel totally heard and figured out problems I was trying to hide because I’ve been told they aren’t “real” before. He was open and honest.
However- I was meant to get my bloodwork done but I was scheduled during the techs lunch time so I had to wait an additional hour while fasting. Not the best experience for that. But everyone was LOVELY

I could hear mice in the ceiling running around and squeaking when I was in the waiting room.
The front office window was closed, check in not easy, wanted me to put all my personal medical info into a kiosk right next to ppl waiting to see the dr = nope.
The front desk also entered in my pharmacy location incorrectly
Walls are paper thin, I could hear a gentleman talking about his urinary issues.
After an hour of waiting, someone came to check on me and to apologize for the delay (my appt was at 11:20 and ppl in the waiting room that arrived after me were being taken back before me)
The dr gave me icky vibes, he made a joke that everyone goes to lunch at noon (i was there at 11:20). He told me to keep doing what im doing and he would need to schedule an exam with bloodwork before we can procede (I have shingles). I asked when can we do that? He said get with the front desk.
I went back to the front, no one acknowledged me. I waited 5 minutes then left. Waste of $ and my time.

Highly recommend Dr. Gupta if you are searching for an efficient, organized, and informative trip to the doctor office. I go every month for follow-up / check-up appointments and come away every time still impressed with how smooth the process goes. The whole office building is brand new, and now has Quest diagnostics right down the hallway, which is very convenient if a screening or bloodwork test is needed ever!
Book through ZocDoc normally, sometimes last minute due to the uncertainty of my work schedule, yet still no trouble and a seamless check-in process! Great staff! Great doctor! 10/10

I didn't receive a full exam nor did they even take my temp which I was very sick and actually ended up with a bad fever that evening. I am 13 weeks pregnant didn't even check on my baby. I presented with heavy chest as part of my symptoms and the doctor didn't even listen to my heart or lungs tho my hr was elevated. Literally only looked into my nose and throat said its swollen. I had to ask him what my diagnosis was didn't tell me anything. Asked for my visit summary afterwards and nothing was filled out

If your looking for a caring Dr. with patience and great chair side manner this is the one. Your not a number here you are treated like a person!!! Love that feeling. I couldn’t get in with my regular PCP and needed to be seen asap. Felt Doctor dismissed most of my symptoms, more so told I was feeling a sort of way. I felt uncomfortable the entire time there. I was also the only one in the waiting room but waited 40 minutes to be seen? Was also prescribed 3 different medications for this “viral” infection I have that has yet to be sent over to the pharmacy. Overall, they are nice but could be a bit more professional.
