Kinetix is a comprehensive non-surgical medical Weight Management practice. While being a patient at Kinetix, Dr Lala will discuss, not only nutrition and activity, but also how to integrate health measures within your lifestyle to support lower weight and a higher quality of life. Kinetix is unique in that Dr Lala and her staff will work efficiently with your insurance to get medication support if you have formulary benefits as well as meet medication indications. We prescribe FDA approved medications, and do not utilize non-FDA approved compounded medications, as your health and safety are our priority.
Dr Lala is dual board-certified physician in Obesity Medicine and Emergency Medicine, and has been practicing medicine for over a decade. It has been no surprise that health complications have been directly related to weight. Through her vast experiences in the ER, she became passionate about leading patients to better overall health, and strongly believes that the crux of achieving a higher level of health relates to a healthy weight. She is concentrating her professional efforts in Obesity Medicine. She went to University of Illinois College of Medicine, and completed residency in Emergency Medicine at University of Illinois Chicago as well. Later, she obtained her MBA at Northwestern Kellogg School of Management. In her free time, Dr Lala enjoys running, creating healthy recipes, and spending time with her husband and two children.

The doctor explained how my body system works. You see the doctor not a staff member. I explained that sometimes it's difficult to make lunch and I default to eating out. She recommended to buy frozen dinners but explained the label and what to look for. The doctor understood my personal needs.

Dr. Lala is fantastic. Can't say enough about how great she's been over the last 2 years that I've been her patient. She's easy to schedule with, always listens to my concerns, and is always open to trying new solutions if something isn't working.
