Getting to know Dr. Morgan Biggs

Hello! We are currently accepting Self-Pay appointments. New Patients: $336 for a 45-minute session Existing Patients: $181 for a 30-minute session Please note that we do not complete FMLA paperwork or disability forms. We look forward to supporting your care and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Hi, I’m Dr. Morgan Biggs, a board-Certified psychiatrist who completed my medical education at Morehouse School of Medicine and a four-year residency at Community Health of South Florida Inc. My approach to psychiatry is rooted in treating the whole person, beyond just symptoms. I use integrative methods such as mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation, and grounding techniques to help guide treatment. As someone deeply connected to the neurodivergent community, I’m passionate about providing care to individuals who identify as neurodivergent. I understand how it feels to be considered “different” and how unique communication needs can shape mental health experiences. I strive to create a supportive and understanding space where my patients feel truly heard and valued. Through telehealth, I offer convenient, accessible care for those seeking support in managing mental health conditions while minimizing medication use when appropriate. I believe in combining medical expertise with genuine human connection to provide personalized, compassionate care. Outside of my practice, I enjoy activities like tending to my farm, yoga, archery, and spending time in nature. I am also proud to be an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and involved in community volunteer programs.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a compassionate, thoughtful, and collaborative approach to care. I take time to truly listen and understand your unique story—beyond just symptoms or diagnoses. Together, we’ll explore treatment options that may include medication, integrative tools, or lifestyle changes. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered in your healing journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During your first session, I’ll take time to thoroughly understand your concerns, health history, and goals. We’ll explore your symptoms, lifestyle, and any past treatments to create a clear picture of your needs. I focus on a holistic, trauma-informed diagnostic process and may recommend lab work or medication if appropriate. Sessions include supportive, collaborative discussions about your treatment options and progress.

Dr. Biggs is one of the most thorough and informative psychiatrist I’ve met. She went into depth regarding my current medication’s that may be causing or, at least contributing to my symptoms and suggested alternatives that may be more beneficial and reduce side effects. I felt she did an amazing intake and took her time to understand what it is that I need. Very thorough and highly recommend!

Finding the right psychiatrist can be such an overwhelming and emotional journey. It really was for me. I had been searching for someone who didn’t just prescribe or listen halfway, but actually made me feel seen and genuinely cared for. From the very first session, I felt a level of comfort I hadn’t experienced before. What stood out to me most was how present Dr. Biggs was. She didn’t rush me, interrupt me, or try to “fix” me in five minutes. She created a space where I felt safe enough to be honest, even about the things I usually keep to myself. She asked thoughtful questions, remembered the details of what I shared, and validated my feelings without judgment. I left my session feeling lighter, not because everything was magically solved, but because I finally felt like I had someone in my corner. If you’re looking for a psychiatrist who combines professionalism with true human empathy, I can’t recommend Dr. Biggs enough. I love her!
