I founded Shifa Therapeutics with the main goal of offering support, compassion, and encouragement to help children, adolescents, and adults in their recovery and growth. I have a strong desire to walk alongside individuals on their journey and provide as much as I can to help them reach their unique goals toward overall wellness. I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Nishtar Medical University, completed my residency in Psychiatry at Nassau University Medical Center, and pursued a fellowship at the University of Arkansas. These experiences have deepened my commitment to personalized care and holistic healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe your mental health is just as important as your physical health. I offer different services, and I support different types of treatment as everyone is unique and may need different things. My office offers a variety of services to meet your individual needs and help you in your recovery. I will sit with you and together we can develop a comprehensive treatment approach that could include medications, testing, therapy or a combination of these.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We will spend your initial appointment discussing your needs, symptoms, goals and with full informed consent, I will make sure the plan of care addresses all of your concerns. I make sure there are no other medical conditions present as well to make sure we are treating the whole person.
