I am a board-certified psychiatric mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental health care. I am also dual-certified in Adult Gerontology. I have a passion for helping others and strive to empower individuals in their journey towards mental well-being. I have over 10 years of experience managing different areas in healthcare. I love mixing therapy with medication management. I understand that seeking help can be daunting, and I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where individuals can express themselves freely. Trust, empathy and respect are cornerstones of my practice I use evidence-based research and approved FDA medications for the treatment of mental health disorders. My experience and expertise in medication management for many years helped connect the dots on treatment modalities. I listen carefully to my patient about their symptoms, fears and wants before deciding on medications of choice. I follow up closely to ensure that my patient's satisfaction is also met. I highly recommend concomitant therapy whether individual or group. I typically work with a variety of diagnoses to include Depression Anxiety Mood disorders (bipolar 1 and 2) Post traumatic stress disorder Obsessive compulsive disorder ADHD Grief I create a nonjudgmental environment for my clients and support them on their journey. I am an active listener and encourage my clients to fully express themselves.
