Dr. Shaik is a board-certified physician with 25 years of experience providing long-term, comprehensive care in both office and hospital settings, managing common and complex illnesses in adults and the elderly. Dr. Shaik earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Andhra Medical College, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Harlem Hospital Center, and pursued a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Aurora Sinai Medical Center.
He is trained in diagnosing and treating cancer, infections, and diseases affecting the heart, blood, kidneys, joints, and digestive, respiratory, and vascular systems. the doctor was not attentive during both of my visits, he was constantly on his phone, and did not pay attention to what I was saying. He also did not ask professional questions related to my medical concerns, but rather talking about unrelated topics and makes me feel uncomfortable. I did not see the doctor really care, go in depth of my concerns in my visits to give the best care to his patients. Both of the times did not leave me good impression. Would not come back and not recommend!

This was my first visit with Dr. Shaik in an attempt to find a new PCP after the loss of my long-time friend and prior PCP. He took his time to get to know me and my condition by asking all the right questions, while showing understanding of my unique experiences and logic used to determine best course of action. I appreciate the fact that he was willing to spend the extra time to review my health and family history, even when needing to perform a few extra basic tests to ensure we did not leave anything uncertain. It's been a challenge finding a PCP over the years but I'm glad I took a chance on Dr. Shaik! He's easy to talk to and has a clear understanding of medical concepts and procedures to carry a discussion that inspires confidence. Thank you, Dr. Shaik! See you on my next Annual Physical!
