Please keep this in mind and ensure your payment, consent forms, and insurance verification are completed. Compassionate psychiatric provider dedicated to treating the whole person, offering integrated mental health care with access to wellness, testing, and restorative treatments—all in one place. I’m Myisha Anderson, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience caring for children, teens, and adults. My passion is helping people feel truly heard and supported while finding practical, evidence-based solutions for their mental health. I studied nursing at The University of Texas at Austin and earned my master’s at UT Health in Houston. Since then, I’ve worked in both hospitals and outpatient clinics, giving me the perspective to meet patients wherever they are in their journey. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, or mood challenges, my approach is always compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to you. When we work together, you can expect more than just medication management—you’ll leave each session with understanding, clarity, and a plan designed to help you move forward.

What should a new client know about working with you?

PRACTICE POLICY: We require all check in and new patient intake to be completed at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. Please keep this in mind and ensure your payment, consent forms, and insurance verification are completed. As your provider, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I take a collaborative, compassionate approach to care, meaning we’ll work together to create a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs, goals, and values. I believe in treating the whole person—not just symptoms. This includes evidence-based medication management, education, and lifestyle support. When appropriate, I’ll also coordinate with therapists and other specialists so your care feels complete and connected. Our practice is unique because patients often discover they can access more than just psychiatry and therapy in one place. Depending on your needs, you may benefit from: • Mental health care: psychiatric evaluations, ongoing medication management, and individual, family, or group therapy. • Testing & advanced treatments: ADHD and psychological testing, brain mapping, TMS therapy, and neurofeedback . • Wellness and recovery support: IV vitamin therapy, hydration and immune drips, NAD+ therapy, and weight loss programs with medications like Semaglutide or Tirzepatide . • Hormone and regenerative health: hormone optimization (TRT, bioidentical therapy), peptide therapy, and lab panels for deeper insights . • Aesthetic and body services: Botox, fillers, facials, microneedling, PRP treatments, body sculpting, and even teeth whitening . Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or simply looking to restore balance in your life, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and professionalism. My practice includes children, adolescents (ages 8+), and adults. No matter where you are on your journey, I will meet you there with care and respect.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When you meet with me for the first time, my focus is on getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story, your goals, and what wellness means to you. A typical initial session lasts about 60–90 minutes, where I take the time to understand your medical history, mental health background, lifestyle factors, and what brought you in today. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, listen closely, and together we’ll start building a clear picture of your needs. From there, I’ll share my impressions and explain any diagnoses in straightforward language. We’ll review treatment options, which may include medication, therapy, or both, and I’ll walk you through the pros and cons so you feel informed and in control. I often incorporate elements of talk therapy during visits—especially around stress management, coping skills, and practical strategies for daily life—so you leave each session with insight and direction. Follow-up visits are usually 15–30 minutes and focus on how you’re doing, what’s working, and where adjustments might be needed. I check in not just on your medications, but on your overall wellbeing—sleep, energy, nutrition, and lifestyle factors. When helpful, I may recommend additional resources available in our clinic, such as therapy, IV vitamin support for mood and energy, ADHD or psychological testing, or hormone and wellness labs to rule out underlying issues. My process is always collaborative, compassionate, and personalized. Every session is a step forward in building a plan that works for you—one that’s flexible, practical, and designed to help you feel better, not just manage symptoms.
