He didn’t have knowledge on how to treat the patient. I never try to come and visit him.
I had informed the clinic nurse that i was there for diabetic consultation and mentioned that i had a few health issues and concerns. The doctor walked in and said "what i can i do for you" since it was my first visit i started to tell my medical history but it seemed that he was in a rush and did not even check my medical history, did not even see the preliminary assessment and did not even ask me what doctors normally ask when examining a diabetic patient, he didn't even bother to do a physical examination; i had to insist because i had abdominal discomfort: throughout he was leaning on the bed with his arms crossed. The irony of it was that he had to excuse himself three times to answer his phone calls when his mobile phone was ringing. I was told to pay before before he came to me, he made me feel like i was in a charity organization seeking for help. I am a diabetic and i frequently go to doctors, I have never in my life encountered such a disappointment.
Staff as a whole earned a A+ from me today.
The front desk staff were really nice. The doctor was approximately 45 minutes late and was behind. After providing sample for a test, I believe my test results were mixed up because there was another patients sample located in the same box. I was then questioned if I had placed the sample in the correct box. Overall, my experience was ok. I will try again with a follow up appointment and if I encounter a bad experience I will not return for a third appointment.
The visit was great! Dr. Amoah and his staff are very professional and friendly.
He did a great job and made my wife feel really comfortable during the appointment!!
Very good Doctor!!! He has good bedside manners!! His staff is wonderful! His office is clean and easy to find!
Absolutely recommend....great doctor.
After hearing such good things about this doctor I was truly disappointed with the service that I received today. The doctor was over an hour late and I don't feel as though we got anything accomplished. I will continue to look for another doctor.
I sat in the waiting room with strep throat for an hour and a half before they even gave me the forms required for a first visit. Took another 15 minutes for the nurse to call me back and another 20 minutes until the doctor showed up. After looking over my symptoms he didn't tell me what I had (I had to ask) just prescribed me an antibiotic without running any tests to be positive the diagnosis was correct. Would not see again
I have had multiple appointments with Dr. Amoah, each time around 9:00am. I arrive 15 minutes early, and each time have waited over an hour and a half as the doctor wasn't even in the office. They tell me he is coming from the hospital, but it happens every time. If the doctor isn't going to be in the office until after 10am, then don't make appointments for 9am. Like most people I work, and have better things to do than sit in your waiting room for an hour and a half. As for my experience with Dr. Amoah, I think he is knowledgable, but feel like each time he rushes through my appointment. Overall, I am not impressed with my experience with Dr. Amoah.
