My journey to mental healthcare Growing up in my household we were never allowed to discuss anything mental health because it was seen as a taboo, so I grew up seeing people suffering mentally and couldn't get help or seek help because of the stigma that is attached to it. This fueled my love for going back to school for Psych. My ultimate joy/goal is to eradicate mental health stigma and help patients and their families achieve their goal of maximum functionality within society.
