“I’ve never written a review before but I feel compelled after today’s visit. My childcare fell through so after getting permission from the doctor’s office I brought my infant to the appointment with me and we were greeted so warmly by the front of house staff. They continued to be warm even after my baby cried throughout the last 1/3 of my appointment, appearing unfazed and gracious. The doctor was patient and understanding on top of helping me correct the fit of my contact lens and addressing all my concerns. The storefront was chic and beautiful, the visit was quick and efficient, and the doctor was knowledgeable, but I’ll be coming back (sans screaming baby) because of how kind and caring Dr. Koshbin and her staff are.”

“The out-of-pocket appointment cost with no insurance was affordable and following appointments are cheap. The office looked clean. I waited about 15 minutes before I was seen by the doctor.
I wish they were more clear about appointment costs before hand. The secretary told me that she cannot give me the cost of the visit upfront, and I did not like the lack of transparency. Nonetheless, the doctor was efficient in her work and listened to my concerns before making a prescription.”

Dr. Nastaran Khoshbin received her bachelor's degree in biology from George Mason University, graduating with honors and Magna Cum Laude. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry in Manhattan. Dr. Khoshbin is a member of the American Optometric Association. She practices full-scope, primary care optometry with an emphasis on contact lens fitting and the treatment and management of ocular diseases.

The doctor was nice enough but I’d never go back because the front desk makes you feel guilty and pressure to buy glasses from them. They still haven’t sent my prescription when I asked for them about 5 times.

I liked Dr. Khoshbin. She was very nice and good at what she does. I recommend her skills and manner as a doctor, but I didn't like the business side of the practice. I felt forced to buy glasses there and they only carry very expensive designer frame. I had not seen an eye doctor in a long time and they made it seem like I would only be able to get my prescription if I purchased their glasses. I should have done my research, because I ended up spending way more than I wanted to. While this is ultimately my fault, I don't want to see healthcare providers who are trying to upsell me for profit. Now that I know, it won't happen again, but I am hoping someone in my situation can learn from my mistakes.
