“I was very happy with Dr. Surmachevska care in our first ever appointment. She was an amazing listener, communicated clearly about the implications of different treatment plans, and made it a safe space to ask her any level of questions. I never felt rushed! She matched her level of explanation to my previous level of knowledge about the rheumatological issue, which I really appreciated. She expressed empathy, thoroughness, and a great level of care during the consultation and examinations. She was swift in ordering the necessary X-Rays and bloodwork, which I was able to get done within an hour after our first appointment ended. She even gave me the results/interpretations the same night as soon as the tests came back! She was understanding and took everything I said into account. I really felt like Dr. Surmachevska had my best in mind and I'm excited to come back for our second appointment soon!! :)”
