About Dr. Nathan Thomas

Dr. Thomas was born and raised in South Texas. After high school, he attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in 1998. While an undergraduate, he was an active member on campus and was inducted into several societies, including both the Alpha Chi and Cardinal Key National Honor Societies.
Dr. Thomas then attended the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2002. During his four years in San Antonio, he married a fellow medical student and his current wife, Dr. Mika R. Thomas.
After medical school, Dr. Thomas completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maricopa Medical Center through the Phoenix Integrated Residency Program in Arizona. He finished residency in 2006 and then practiced in Iowa for three years while his wife completed her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Since moving to Dallas in 2009, Dr. Thomas has practiced general obstetrics and gynecology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, obstetrics, and bioidentical hormone replacement.
Dr. Thomas and his wife have a son and daughter. When not working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching sports, and playing golf.
