She obtained an associate degree in nursing at Central Ohio Technical College and a bachelor's degree in nursing at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She worked as a registered nurse and noted an increased need for behavioral health providers. She felt she could help make behavioral health care more accessible; she therefore, returned to school at Maryville University and obtained an MSN in Psychiatry. She is board-certified by the ANCC and licensed by the Ohio Board of Nursing. She has worked in various health care settings caring for patients with mixed diagnoses of physical and behavioral health conditions throughout her career. She is a member of the Ohio Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She employs a holistic, shared decision-making approach to treatment, incorporates evidence-based research in her practice, and aims to empower patients, in a safe environment, to develop the skills they need. She specializes in medication management, anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, PTSD, and more. She is accepting new patients from 18 years old and up."
